A charge controller regulates the power coming from your solar panels to the battery bank. It stops the supply from the solar panels once the battery bank has reached a full charge. We supply two different types of charge controllers namely PWM and MPPT. We used PWM or Pulse Width Modulation charge controllers on smaller applications and it is a cheaper option. On bigger systems, we use the MPPT or Maximum Power Point Tracker charge controller. It is a microprocessor controlled unit which can get up to 30% more power out of your solar panels.
